He graduated from Faculty of Theology, Atatürk University, in 1989. In 1992, he received his MA degree, with a dissertation entitled "The comparative study on Casuality in Avicenna, al-Ghazali and David Hume" at the Institute of Social Sciences, Atatürk University. In 1998, he completed his PhD study, with a thesis entitled "The Thought of Death in al-Ghazali" at the same. He works, currently, as a lecturer at Faculty of Theology, Atatürk University.
