He graduated from Faculty of Theology, Ankara University, in 1997. In 2002, he received his MA degree, with a thesis entitled “John Calvin's Understanding of Faith and Revelation” at the Institute of Social Sciences, Ankara University. Since 2009, he completed his PhD study, with a dissertation entitled “Fideism in terms of Faith-Reason Relationship” at the same institute. He works, currently, as a lecturer at Faculty of Theology, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University.
