He graduated from Faculty of Theology, Marmara University, in 1990. In 1995, he received his MA degree, with a thesis entitled “Woman in Public Service” at the Institute of Social Sciences, Marmara University. In 1999, he completed his PhD study, with a dissertation entitled “Religious Pluralism and Islam: A Critical Examination of John Hick's Pluralistic Hypothesis” at the University of Kent at Canterbury. He works, currently, as a lecturer at Faculty of Theology, Akdeniz University.
