He graduated from Faculty of Theology, Ankara University, in 1997. In 2000, he received his MA degree, with a thesis entitled “Relation of Religion and Science in Whitehead's Philosophy” at the Institute of Social Sciences, Ankara University. In 2008, he completed his PhD study, with a dissertation entitled “Voluntarism in Duns Scotus” at the same institute. He works, currently, as a lecturer at Faculty of Theology, Gazi University.
