He graduated from Faculty of Theology, Sivas Cumhuriyet University, in 2004. In 2006, he received his MA degree, with a thesis entitled "Eschatology According to Al Farabus and Avicenna" at the Institute of Social Sciences, Cumhuriyet University. In 2012, he completed his PhD study, with a dissertation entitled "Reconciling Approaches to Science and Religion" at the Institute of Social Sciences, İstanbul University. He works, currently, as a lecturer at Faculty of Theology, Sivas Cumhuriyet University.
