He graduated from Faculty of Theology, Ankara University, in 1994. In 1996, he received his MA degree, with a thesis entitled “Religion and God in Spinoza” at the Institute of Social Sciences, Ankara University. In 2003, he completed his PhD study, with a dissertation entitled “Spinoza's Understanding of God” at the same institute. He works, currently, as a lecturer at Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University.
