He graduated from Faculty of Theology, Atatürk University, in 1986. In 1994, he completed his PhD study, with a thesis entitled "The Argument from Design in Contemporary Thought" at University of Wales. He works, currently, as a lecturer at Faculty of Divinity, Ondokuz Mayıs University.
