He graduated from Faculty of Theology, Marmara University, in 2006. In 2009, he received his MA degree, with a thesis entitled “Freedom Approach as Atheism's Foundation: 'J. P. Sartre Method'” at the Institute of Social Sciences, Marmara University. In 2013, he completed his PhD study, with a dissertation entitled “Arguing for Religious Pluralism: The Cases of Wilfred Cantwell Smith and John Hick” at the same institute. He works, currently, as a lecturer at Faculty of Theology, Şırnak University.
