He graduated from Faculty of Theology, Marmara University, in 1983. In 1989, he received his MA degree at the Institute of Social Sciences, Marmara University. In 1996, he completed his PhD study at the same institute. He works, currently, as a lecturer at Faculty of Theology, Akdeniz University.
