He graduated from Faculty of Divinity, Dokuz Eylül University, in 1997. In 2001, he received his MA degree, with a dissertation entitled "Wilfred Cantwell Smith's Religious Understanding" at the Institute of Social Sciences, Dokuz Eylül University. In 2012, he completed his PhD study, with a thesis entitled "Religious Insight of Josiah Royce" at the same institute. He works, currently, as a lecturer at Faculty of Theology, Gaziosmanpaşa University.
