He graduated from Faculty of Theology, Ankara University, in 1997. In 2001, he received his MA degree, with a thesis entitled “Language Games and Religious Belief in Wittgenstein” at the Institute of Social Sciences, Ankara University. Since 2006, he completed his PhD study, with a dissertation entitled “Divine Foreknowledge and Human Freedom” at the same institute. He works, currently, as a lecturer at Faculty of Theology, Ankara University.
