He graduated from Faculty of Theology, Ondokuz Mayıs University, in 1999. In 2002, he received his MA degree, with a thesis entitled “Critiques of Religious Exclusivism in John Hick's Philosphy of Religion” at the Institute of Social Sciences, Ondokuz Mayıs University. In 2011, he completed his PhD study, with a dissertation entitled “Religious Inclusivism in Modern and Islamic Thought” at the Institute of Social Sciences, Istanbul University. He works, currently, as a lecturer at Faculty of Art and Sciences, Ondokuz Mayıs University.
