He graduated from Faculty of Theology, Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, in 2002. In 2005, he received his MA degree, with a dissertation entitled "The Argument from Consciousness in Richard Swinburne" at the Institute of Social Sciences, Ankara University. In 2012, he completed his PhD study, with a thesis entitled "The Problem of Personal Identity from an Eschatological Perspective" at the same institute. He works, currently, as a lecturer at Faculty of Theology, Van Yüzüncü Yıl University.
