In 1999, he received his MA degree, with a dissertation entitled "Fideism in Pascal and an Assessment from Ghazali's Point of View" at the Institute of Social Sciences, Dokuz Eylül University. In 2006, he completed his PhD study, with a thesis entitled "Religious Experience as a Philosophical Problem" at the same institute. He works, currently, as a lecturer at Department of Philosophy, Muş Alparslan University.
